As a Software Engineer at Syntell, you'll play a crucial role in modernizing our existing Delphi codebase while working closely with the Embedded Systems Engineer. Your main responsibility will be to develop and enhance software solutions for traffic monitoring and control systems, ensuring they are reliable and maintainable. This position is part of the Mikros Systems team, which specializes in delivering embedded hardware and software solutions for South Africa's traffic infrastructure.
In your day-to-day work, you will collaborate with both hardware and embedded teams to translate project requirements into effective software solutions. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from the initial design phase through to field deployment. This means you will need to be comfortable working on various aspects of software development and have a keen eye for detail.
