In this role as an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the IT Helpdesk system while ensuring that issues are resolved within set timelines. Your day-to-day tasks will involve managing and supporting Office 365 environments, including OneDrive and SharePoint, as well as supporting network infrastructure such as DNS/DHCP, cabling, and Wi-Fi access points. You will also be tasked with managing backups and ensuring IT security and malware protection are in place.
You will configure and support VOIP telephony systems and handle printing and scanning services. Additionally, you will support Automated Meter Reading (AMR) systems, which includes meter setup, diagnostics, and GSM modem configuration. Basic stock control will also be part of your responsibilities, where you will receive, dispatch, and track IT equipment.
This position is well-suited for someone with at least three years of IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting and providing solutions to technical problems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
