Smart4 Energy is looking for a motivated ICS Security Engineer to join their Rig Technologies team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will collaborate with various business units to develop solutions that meet customer needs while minimizing cybersecurity risks. Your work will involve selecting, deploying, and validating cybersecurity controls to ensure compliance and security across digital products.
On a daily basis, you will guide business functions on operational technology (OT) network architecture and security-related matters. You will also be responsible for triaging and addressing security alerts reported by OT security systems. This position requires a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to create and maintain technical documentation and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field, along with at least two years of relevant experience. You should be self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
